I’m a proud Yorkshireman, now greying gracefully, living just south of York with my wonderful wife, our two amazing kids, and our mischievous kittens Skywalker and Vader. Family is at the heart of everything I do.

I have a deep love for the outdoors and a lifelong passion for sport especially football and baseball. When I’m not cheering from the sidelines, I’m often on stage with a local theatre group, bringing characters to life. I also play the piano (when I’m not being upstaged by my kittens), and though I’m left-handed and hopeless at swimming, I make up for it by being the favourite uncle, a die-hard Claret, and an unashamed chocoholic. Oh, and coffee? Not my cup of tea.

The Wonderground is my debut novel, and I’m excited to share this new chapter of my creative journey.
