Louise Wilhelmiene Hayes is an award-winning writer and poet, a peer support volunteer for women in addiction recovery, the undisputed manager of everything in her household, an avid plant-based cook and creative baker, a lover of 90s alternative music, and a believer that long walks (preferably at the beach) make every day better. Her memoir, ‘Disintegrating Into Adulthood,’ was named a finalist in the 2025 Next Generation Indie Book Awards. She currently resides in a small house in Boca Raton, Florida with her husband and their two older kids.
