I’ve always had a love for words. As a kid, I was the grammar geek and the bookworm. I adore the way words sound and how they come together on a page. I’m a teacher, business owner, mother, and self-proclaimed word nerd with over twenty years of experience teaching high school and college students. I’m also a life coach and incredibly proud to have raised two kind, decent humans. I find joy in guiding students through the transition from high school to college and love surrounding myself with words both written and spoken across all my passions. With my quirky take on etymology, I have a knack for seeing the world in fresh ways.

So I’ve Been Thinking… is a collection of stories based on everyday life. While each of us is unique, we all share a common pride in our families, the traditions passed down through generations, and the highs and lows of life. There’s an invisible thread that connects us all. As you read, you might find yourself smiling, laughing, or even shedding a tear.
