John Hageman’s life began to change when his children started going to a Christian school. They were assigned Bible homework, and he realized he had to read the Bible to help with their studies. This turned out to be a difficult task because he found inconsistencies and contradictions. He asked himself: How could a perfect God allow contradictions? Did God change the rules/laws after the birth of Christ? Are people saved by faith alone or by works? Is it acceptable to stone people to death based on God’s word? These questions troubled him until he read the Book of James. After that, light replaced the darkness he had been trapped in.

The author is a scientist and a certified radiation safety specialist. His education and work experience sharpened his skills in research and document analysis. These skills helped him uncover the truth in the Bible and write his book, The Bible’s Hidden Treasure – James the Precious Pearl.
