Coleen Liebsch resides in Eastern South Dakota with her husband and son. She also has two adult stepchildren, a daughter-in-law, and a 7-year-old grandson. Her passion for the thriller genre was sparked by the iconic Twilight Zone television series, where she was captivated by the unexpected twists and life lessons that kept viewers on edge.

Coleen attributes her love of writing to her junior high English teacher, Deborah Merkwan, who, nearly 30 years later, became her editor.
